The original vision for Clawson Ridge Condominiums was started in 2010 by a group of private investors who pulled together five tracts of land located on Clawson Road. In 2013, that group of investors sold the land to D.R. Horton who drafted the site plans and completed the original development of the property under the name Rooster Flats Condominiums, complete with the famous neon rooster! For unknown reasons, D.R. Horton stopped development in late 2015 and the project sat idle for almost two years. In the summer of 2017, a private group of investors purchased the property, said goodbye to the rooster (who found a nice home with a neighbor down the street on Clawson Road), and started working on the plans to create what is now Clawson Ridge Condominiums. That group of private investors hired Jimmy Dimanoff and Dale Thorton, who created Clawson Ridge Development to complete the condominium project. Dimanoff and Thorton and their team have over 50 years experience building in the Austin area and have developed projects ranging form large-scale master planned communities to high-dollar custom homes. Dimanoff has received both his Graduate Master Builder and Certified Graduate Builder designations. At Clawson, Dimanoff and Thorton hope to create 39 high quality, high value condominium homes for 39 families in heart of Austin. They are excited to serve you now and in the years to come.
